M Tech Admission 2013

Engineering is among those professions opens maximum number of options in the way of a career selection. The graduation opens the gateway of all the state and national level competitive exams while the masters give a vast amount of technical knowledge and allow the student for his research level.
 
In our article we are discussing about the post graduation degree in Engineering popularly known as master of engineering/master of technology/master of science. Indian universities mostly prefer master of engineering and master of technology but European countries prefer master of science for the same degree. A graduation in relevant subject is necessary for the masters in engineering. The average required percentage is 55% for the unreserved category while 5% flexibility for the reserved.
In beginning days master of engineering given in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and civil engineering but with the duration of time it spread all its way with the new trades of engineering. 

Beside the mother trades more popular trades in engineering (in modern days) are architect engineering, interior designing, electronics engineering, instrumentation engineering, production engineering, transportation engineering and textile engineering. If you are an aspirant of m.tech admission 2013 you can apply for GATE 2013 which is the prime national level entrance test held for the post graduation in engineering. Remember you can change your trade in your masters if you are not satisfied with your current trade but the trade should be relevant like civil and architect engineering. While filing the GATE form you are allowed to make the changes you are expecting for. GATE qualified students offer a scholarship range from 8,000 to 12,500 monthly. 
top m.techcolleges in India are 16 IITs and then the NITs. Approximately all the states is offering a single NIT to the students. Among the private colleges Birla Institute of Technology, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology are the prominent.  
For admission in foreign countries like Australia, French or in Japan you have to chase the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) conducted by those countries. If you are expecting an education based on scholarship it is very easy to get that. You have to score a minimum of 1300 out of 1600 and that will give you the opportunities to get the scholarship. Beside that you can work for research scholars of that university as an assistant and for that you will award some amount of money.
