Status of M.Tech in India

An engineer is a professional who concerned with applying scientific knowledge, mathematics, and ingenuity to develop solutions for technical problems. They design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost. Engineers are the professional who makes our life easier by their ideas and works. Engineering is the practice done by these professionals. It is the application of scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge to achieve the design, build, and maintain structures of machines, devices, systems, materials and processes. Master of Technology (M Tech) is one of those courses which create professional engineers throughout the world. M.Tech degree is awarded to those students who completed this 2 years programme. There are many Engineering colleges in India. Some of them are IIT - Bombay, ISM - Dhanbad, National Institute of Technology - Trichy, Punjab Engineering College - Chandigarh, VNIT - Nagpur, SVNIT - Surat etc.


M.Tech is also offer in distance education in India. M.Tech distance education is quite popular among those students who are unable to attend regular colleges. The masters in engineering specialties include Aerospace, agriculture, bio engineering, chemical, civil, computer, computer science, construction management, electrical engineering, engineering management, engineering technology, environmental, fire protection, industrial, information technology, manufacturing, materials, mechanical, software, systems, and telecom management. The course is also available for the working professional’s engineer. M.Tech for working professionals is a distance education course provided by many distance learning universities throughout the country. It is famous among working engineers because it helps them to gain more information about their specialized fields. The working students acquire the knowledge which have intact professional application and considers the economic, ecological and ethical issues. The course is to make the working professionals capable for working deeper in the technology and IT arena and train intensively the future professionals of our country. The M.Tech gives engineering professional new ways of making people lives easier and better.
